Working with Resistance

 
 
 

I see the Merry go round of life. I don’t need to be on the same ride as everyone else. I can create my own.

I have a lack of resistance which allows me to create easily with my beliefs.

Spend less time trying to convince everyone else to get off the ride and create your own path. Those that are interested will follow.

Do it now.

Let the infinite intelligence in your cells tell you what is good for you.

Listen inward regularly until it becomes the default.

No one does life perfectly, as nothing like that exists.

What do you want? How do you enjoy doing things?

Some structure can be good. We all need an element of structure to allow for comparison and therefore awareness.

The way consciousness works is that it requires something to bounce off. It requires some form of resistance to move in a particular direction. It can be a push or a pull. Either way, it doesn’t matter, for there to be movement and expansion with consciousness there is a need for elements of resistance in thought.

Q/ So when I am in meditation and connected it doesn’t feel as though there is resistance?

A/ Resistance can take many forms. It can be as simple as a desire for more, which indicates a resistance to the present.

Consciousness is always looking to play. Play the game of expansion.

There are constant explosions of consciousness at all different dimensional levels.

It’s like a looping effect at all different speeds in the universes.

It’s that push pull motion that exists in everything no matter what life form it is.

Ok so how does that relate to my day to day existence? Want to make changes?

The focus is then to understand the push pull motion. The interaction between energy that creates.

This can be in the dimension of thought form or physical. As you know thought is the basis of physical.

So when you want to create or change something you can tap into the awareness of the opposing thoughts and maneuver the creation through this.

I don’t fully understand?

Well you can already see the way you crossed your legs now in the physical was due to a split second thought of fear of not understanding. You physically locked down your body as an instant reaction to the thoughts involved in the next expansion of awareness.

It was a pulling in motion. Which was pushed by the challenge of a potential new understanding or belief.

Awareness is key.

Now that you are aware you can make a conscious decision to uncross your legs and relax a little more, knowing that you can trust yourself to be safe in this new expansion of knowledge.

Ok, so now I’m ready to hear it as I don’t fully understand it?

So interaction is constantly occurring.

And so the outcome of interaction of either thoughts, people or things is dependent on how the two parties or particles collide or interact.

Hard surface against hard surface will be quite sharp and potentially painful (physically or thought wise)

Soft against hard not so bad but still uncomfortable for both.

Soft against soft brings more of a dance or a bounce about. Less sharpness, less discomfort but still movement.

There is always movement, it just depends on the speed, angle and velocity of the interaction. And remember we are talking about physical and non physical things which are inextricably linked.

So how to change an outcome?

Consider the two points of interaction, the two points of belief.

I need an example.

Ok, let’s use an example in your life right now.

You have numerous tasks to do around the home today (let’s call them chores) as in your mind and energy that is how we are reading them to be for you. There is a sense of obligation more so than fun.

Agreed?

Yes, very much agreed.

Ok so that is one of the touch points, the tasks and the belief about those tasks which makes them feel like chores which is an existing thought.

Ok, and the other touch point is you, your beliefs and your action going forward.

You have the opportunity to drag yourself out of your chair and get up and hang up the washing to stop the annoying beeping sound of the washing machine telling you it is finished.

That feels hard against hard, it feels like quite an effort interaction with uncomfortable resistance due to thoughts.

You could soften that on your side by relaxing and saying, that’s ok, I can ignore the beeping, I’ll do it when I feel ready.

But the beeping and the feeling of a chore related task is still in the hard/resistant category of energy, agreed?

Yes, annoyingly yes, I am trying to ignore the beeping but it is causing me slight discomfort and guilt.

Ok, so for a different outcome both sides of the interaction need to be softer.

Hmmm 🤔

I think I understand but not fully.

Well, as you know your whole life experience is based on your filter of perception and that is the only thing you can change. Not anyone else, just your perception of anyone else.

So how do I change the beeping and the feeling of hanging the washing being a chore?

Take a moment to look a little closer at that side of the interaction based on your perception of it.

Your interpretation is that hanging washing is a chore and the beeping is making you feel guilty for not doing it immediately, correct?

Yes!

Then what you need to do is soften your perception of this.

How?

Start by thinking of how lucky you are to have a good washing machine, two none the less!

And how lucky you are to have such nice clothes to wash.

And the easy access to water and soap.

And the space to hang the washing in the beautiful weather today.

And a machine clever enough to tell you when it is finished.

So it is all about gratitude???

Well gratitude is an amazing tool to use to help soften a situation energetically.

Focus on these thoughts now and see how you feel.

Ha ha ha, I’m actually excited about getting up and hanging my washing. Allowing my clothes to enjoy the fresh breeze. I’m actually wanting to get up and do it now. 🤷🏼‍♀️.

So, now you have a soft energetic thought hitting another soft energetic action and the flow is so much more comfortable.

Hmmm. I need to contemplate this further and understand it better to apply it more regularly, but yes I can feel the difference in my energy already.

It feels time consuming to have to do this all day long.

Well it is only time consuming to begin with, then it becomes more natural and instant, just like your downloads.
