Why are we here? Why are we doing this living like a human thing?

The reason for being here in the life of a human being is to enjoy the experience of feeling. We are talking not only the experience of feeling through your five senses of see, smell, taste, touch and hearing, but also your subtle senses of intuition and awareness through touching of energy that you are not able to see (well most of you can’t see it, but more of you will be able to soon).

Buy why? Why do we want to feel? Feeling doesn’t always feel good!

Ah that depends on your definition of good. What does good mean to you? If you zoom in, then good may be defined as anything that doesn’t have too much of an extreme impact on you. But if you zoom out and take a bigger picture view of situations, there is good in everything that you live. Why? Because when you zoom out far enough and are able to see a greater context of a situation, you will be able to see and more importantly know why various experiences occurred and how they fit into the bigger picture. Without dark there is no concept of light. Without challenge there is not appreciation of achievement. Without the sun, moon and stars we could not appreciate there is more to the physical existence other than earth, and so forth. All of these aspects allow for context which contributes to the growth of self-awareness.

With action and re-action we have an opportunity for experiencing a multitude of feelings.  The emotional scale which is mapped to frequency, if far more complex and detailed than you are consciously aware of. That is not something to be concerned about but rather, work within the confines of what you currently have awareness of and allow for that awareness to grow at the speed it creates for itself. 

Can you give us some further practical advice around the reason for being, as some may question why it is so hard when they feel bad more often than good?

The best practical advice we can give is to live life fully. By this we mean allow yourself to feel, don’t shy away from the uncomfortable feelings, just allow yourself to be aware that they are but a tiny speck of the bigger picture. They are an opportunity for awareness and for choosing your experience in human form.  You chose to be here, you chose it to have the opportunity to feel, so make the most of it and feel. Feel emotion, feel energy, feel textures, feel pain, feel warmth, cool and freezing temperatures. Your human body allows for these experiences which you are not able to have in the same way in an etheric form. 

That is why you are here.

Imagine going on a holiday to a beautiful tropical island. You would generally expect sun, warmth, clear warm waters, new exotic tropical fruit to enjoy. You wouldn’t book a trip like that and just hide away in your room with the blinds drawn and staying in bed only eating and drinking packaged food from the mini bar. You would be out there in the sun (with the risk of sunburn but with sunscreen or a hat to protect you depending on your beliefs), you would be in the water, in the clear blue warm water feeling the impact it has on your skin and within your energy field (at the risk of being snapped at by a crab or shark as you’re in it’s home territory) but you would keep your eyes peeled to stay safe. You would try all the different tropical fruits to see if you find something so delicious and exotic for you the taste completely changes your perspective on all foods (even with the risk of discovering you have an intolerance to one of the beautiful looking fruits).  

When you chose to be in human form, you did so with the expectation of being able to feel many many different things. So do it. Don’t hide in your room. With some common safety sense perspective (that comes on a scale too 😂) allow yourself to explore, enjoy and experience life. Because when you zoom out to see the bigger picture, you come to realise that a brief emotion of sadness, embarrassment, or fear is all part of the bigger picture of your experience and exactly why you are here. So feel the highs and don’t disregard the lows. They are all part of the whole experience.  

Remember at the centre of it all you are love ❤️
